Giveback Homes

Guest blog post by the Giveback Homes team:

Giveback Homes is dedicated to creating a sustainable relationship between real estate professionals and families in need of homes throughout Latin America. The company has so far been working with Habitat for Humanity Nicaragua to provide safe, decent homes for families who would otherwise be living in structures made of wood scraps and plastic tarps.

Members of Giveback Homes (real estate agents and mortgage brokers)
donate a portion of their commission to the cause, and 100% of their contributions go directly to the field in Nicaragua. On their most recent trip to Nicaragua, Giveback Homes was able to meet families who have already received Habitat homes, and helped build homes for future recipients as well.

“We can create social change, simply by making the everyday transaction of buying and selling a home through a Giveback Homes agent," said Giveback Homes Founder, Blake Andrews.

The great news is Giveback Homes is now partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles to start funding projects right here in their own backyard. They're also looking for more members to join and make the commitment to turn the home buying experience into an act of social change. Giveback Homes realtors in the Los Angeles area include Paul Cruz from Keller Williams , Melinda & Scott Tamkin from Nest Real Estate, and Dustin Cummings from Hilton & Hyland.
